STANFORD HALL
Home of the Cave family, ancestors of the current owner since 1430. The present Hall was built by Smiths of Warwick and is a fine example of their work and of the William and Mary period.

The owner's binding undertakings
1. To take reasonable steps for the maintenance repair and preservation of the property and for securing reasonable access to the public as set out in the Management Plan agreed with English Heritage, the Countryside Commission and the Nature Conservancy Council in 1992. 2. To prepare a new Heritage Landscape Management Plan to facilitate the objectives in 1. above for the designated area in consultation with and to the reasonable satisfaction of the Countryside Agency, English Heritage and English Nature ("the Agencies") the said plan to be prepared in accordance with guidance issued for the preparation of such plans by the Countryside Agency and within 24 months of the date of designation or such longer period as may reasonably be required.
