The owner's binding undertakings
Undertakings under S31(2) Inheritance Tax Act 1984 1. With respect to each of the objects until death or until it is earlier disposed of whether by sale or gift or otherwise: (a) to take reasonable steps for its maintenance, repair and preservation and to keep it associated with St Michael's Mount (b) to update the current inventory of historically associated objects in discussion with HMRC and their advisors within 12 months of the giving of this undertaking and thereafter to maintain and update the inventory on a regular basis in a sortable electronic format to show location of objects in relation to the visitor route.
