CASTLE HOUSE: Usk Castle is a romantic ruined castle with inner and outer baileys, towers and earthwork defences. It is surrounded by enchanting gardens incorporating The Castle House, the former medieval gatehouse.

Directions: Off Monmouth Road in Usk opposite Fire Station. Castle open all year, see website. House open May (not Mons), 2-5pm and Bank Holidays. Guided tours only.
