SYON ESTATE

40 acres of gardens designed by Capability Brown. Syon House dated to Tudor times with some of Robert Adam's finest interiors and contains English and Continental paintings and furniture, a series of family portraits and Roman sculpture.

Access

2026 opening dates: Syon House & Gardens: Sundays, Mondays and Tuesdays plus Good Friday from: 1st March 2026 - 27th October (inclusive). Opening hours will be 10.00am to 3.30pm (last entry 2.30pm). Please note that the House and Gardens will be closed on the following dates due to large scale events: Monday 6th July, Monday 10th August & Monday 7th September

The owner's binding undertakings

The Estate will keep the exterior and interior of Syon House and the other properties in good repair. The Estate will manage and maintain the historic Parkland and landscape in accordance with the approved Heritage Landscape Management Plan. The Estate will open Syon House, the Great Conservatory and gardens to the public for at least 100 days per annum. The Estate will advertise the opening arrangements in at least one national publication and notify them to the London Tourist Board. The Estate will provide a written annual report to the Inland Revenue confirming compliance with the undertakings given. The Estate will allow any person authorised by the Inland Revenue access at all reasonable times by appointment to Syon House and Park to enable them to ascertain that the undertakings are being complied with.
