
KELBURN CASTLE
Contains the double-cube panelled drawing room (1700) said by some to be the most beautiful room in Scotland and Victorian dining room with original William Morris wallpaper. Kelburn Castle is probably the first house in Scotland to have sash windows. There is an extensive collection of family portraits including two by Raeburn and one by John Martin.
