RODMARTON MANOR

Built by Ernest Barnsley between 1909 and 1929 it was one of the last country houses to be built in the traditional style when everything was done by hand with local stone, timber and craftsmen. It contains an extensive collection of furniture made especially for the house as well as hand painted furniture, pottery, china, applique work and finely crafted stone and iron work. There are extensive gardens covering over 8 acres.
