The owner's binding undertakings
3. The owners undertake that during their lifetimes or until the property is earlier disposed of whether by sale or gift or otherwise (i) they will take all reasonable steps for its maintenance, repair and preservation and for securing reasonable access to the public in pursuance of which they will abide by the terms of the Deed of Guardianship entered into with the Ministry of Works (now English Heritage) on 18th July 1951.
