TREBERFYDD: A Victorian country house, built in the Gothic style in 1847-1850. The house was designed by J L Pearson and the garden and grounds by W A Nesfield.
Access
Directions: Leave the A40 at Bwlch, taking the B4560 towards Llangors. After 1/4 mile, turn left down a small lane signposted Pennorth. Continue on this lane for about two miles. Pass by two farms in quick succession. The drive to the House is then on the right. Treberfydd House and garden and associated buildings are of appeal principally to those with an interest in historic houses. For details of opening times please refer to the website link shown. Access to the land beyond the House is by public and permissive rights of way.

The owner's binding undertakings
1. To take all reasonable steps for the maintenance, repair and preservation of Treberfydd House and associated buildings (Treberfydd Stable Yard and buildings within the yard; Treberfydd Farmhouse and buildings within the farmyard; and Llan Farmhouse excluding the corrugated iron structures) in discussion with Cadw and in accordance with their reasonable recommendations from time to time. 2. To take all reasonable steps for the maintenance of the land and the preservation of its character in accordance with the terms of a management plan agreed with the Countryside Commission (as it then was) and as might be revised from time to time in discussion with the Countryside Council for Wales and in accordance with their reasonable recommendations. 3.
