A collection of paintings [all but one portraits] collected or commissioned in the 18th century by Sir Lawrence Dundas. These include portraits of the Dundas family members and royalty, with works by Reynolds, Zoffany, Raeburn and Batoni amongst others. There is also a pair of George III fire screens.

These items can be seen by guided tour as part of the Heritage Open Day Scheme run by English Heritage. For further details of participation and opening times see the attached link. Please note that due to ongoing building works only a selection of the collection will be available to view in 2014.
