An attractive area of woodlands near Stroud and Dursley in Gloucestershire.

Access

Location: Off the A4135 east of Dursley and south of the village of Uley. Access will be given by the existing definitive rights of way. The route marked in green on the map shall serve as an acceptable alternative to the section of the bridleway number 30 between points A1- B which section is not waymarked. There is not, nor has there been any intention to dedicate the route marked green as a public path.

The owner's binding undertakings

(i) That until the property is disposed of whether by sale or gift or otherwise, reasonable steps will be taken for its maintenance and the preservation of its character and for securing reasonable access. To this end a Heritage Landscape Management Plan will be agreed with the Countryside Agency and English Heritage within 24 months. (ii) The existing network of definitive rights of way within the Uley Woodlands will be maintained, the route marked green on the attached plan shall serve as an acceptable alternative to the section of the bridleway number 30 between points A1- B which section does not need to be waymarked. There is not, nor has there been any intention to dedicate the route marked green as a public path.
