The home of the Proby family for over 350 years, it has a fascinating mixture of styles. The Hall contains a fine collection of furniture and paintings from early 15th century old masters to the pre-Raphaelite work of Alma Tadema and Millais. Gainsborough, Constable and Reynolds are all represented. The Library is one of the finest in private hands and includes Henry VIII's Prayer Book. Set in beautiful gardens that have been carefully restored.
