Works of art and other objects: This collection, built up over several hundred years, included items of furniture, porcelain, silver and a range of family portraits and subject paintings from the 17th century to the present day. The collection has works by John Verelst, Sir Godfrey Kneller, Sir Thomas Lawrence, Maria Spilsbury, Sir Joshua Reynolds and Michael Dahl. There is also a set of four large Bacchanalia tapestries depicting playing boys and dating from the 17th century.

Directions: Off the A425 between Daventry and Southam. A Selection of items from the collection can be seen (by guided tour) as part of the Heritage Open Days Scheme operated by English Heritage in England.
