The owner's binding undertakings
1. To undertake with respect to each of the objects until it is disposed of whether by sale or gift or otherwise: (a) to take reasonable steps for its maintenance repair and preservation and to keep it associated with Knebworth House and in particular - (i) to abide by the Collections Management Plan ("the Plan"); (ii) the Plan will be updated as necessary every five years or at such other intervals as might be agreed with HMRC and English Heritage; (iii) within 12 months of signing this undertaking create a photographic record of the objects. (b) to take the following steps to secure reasonable access for the public: (i) to allow, by whatever means appropriate, the public to view each of the objects without a prior appointment at Knebworth House in rooms which are open to the public on at least 28 days ("the access days") each year between 1st April and 30th September with at leas…
