The collection includes The Craven State Chariot built for the Earl of Craven around 1831 - 1836 by Hooper & Co of London. The collection includes the Chariot and items ancilliary to the Chariot, including carriage lamps, hammer cloth, cushions, tassels, coachman's cushion.

3. We undertake with respect to the Collection, that during our lifetime or until it is disposed of whether by sale or gift or otherwise: (a) to keep the Collection, as a Collection, permanently in the United Kingdom and not to remove it temporarily except for a purpose and a period approved by HM Revenue & Customs (HMRC); (b) to take reasonable steps for its preservation; (c) to take the following steps to secure reasonable access to the public (i) the collection will be on permanent loan to the National Trust Carriage Museum at Arlington Court, Arlington, Barnstaple, Devon, EX31 4LP ("the Museum") (ii) if the loan to the Museum is terminated by the Museum, we shall agree with HMRC alternative arrangements for providing the public with access to the collection. We understand that, in such event, our failure to institute a suitable replacement arrangement within a reasonable period …
