The owner's binding undertakings
1. We undertake with respect to each of the objects until it is disposed of whether by sale or gift or otherwise: (a) to take reasonable steps for its maintenance repair and preservation and to agree with English Heritage within 6 months of designation a Collections Management Plan in accordance with the published guidance Preparing a Heritage Management Plan (2nd edition, Natural England NE202, 2008) and Historic House Collections: Drawing up a Collections Management Plan (English Heritage 51667, 2010); to implement the policies of the Plan thereafter; and to update the Plan with the agreement of English Heritage on a regular basis; (b) to keep it associated with Bowood House; (c) to take the following steps to secure reasonable access for the public: (i) to allow the public to view each of the objects without a prior appointment at Bowood House on at least 60 days each year between…
