In order to minimise exposure to light open public access will be provided to the collection on a minimum of 30 days in any three year period and by appointment at all other reasonable times.. Contact Chatsworth for specific details

The owner's binding undertakings
To undertake with respect to the drawings, that until they are disposed of whether by sale or gift or otherwise: (a) to keep the drawings, permanently in the United Kingdom and not to remove them temporarily except for a purpose and a period approved by HM Revenue & Customs (HMRC); (b) to take reasonable steps for their preservation; (c) to take the following steps to secure reasonable access to the public (i) Open public access will be provided to each of the drawings on a minimum of 10 days a year or comparable multiples thereof every two or three years by display at Chatsworth House, Derbyshire, or elsewhere, and by appointment at all other reasonable times. We will notify HMRC in October of the proposed access arrangements, as appropriate, for the coming year to allow them to be advertised as set out at (d) below.
