An area of high scenic and historic importance lying within the New Forest National Park. Pylewell House is a country house with its origins in the 17th and 18th centuries; set within a landscape park.

The owner's binding undertakings
To take reasonable steps to maintain repair and preserve the land and buildings, and to secure reasonable access to the public under the Heritage Landscape Management Plan of February 1995. To notify IR (Capital Taxes Office) immediately possession of the Pylewell Estate or any part of it is relinquished or otherwise disposed of, whether by gift, sale or any other means.
