GLAMIS CASTLE

The childhood home of HM Queen Elizabeth, The Queen Mother, birthplace of HRH Princess Margaret. Originally a royal hunting lodge, remodelled in the 17th century. The castle contains a fine collection of family portraits by artists such as de Wet, Lely and Kneller. Furniture, porcelain and tapestries associated with this fine royal residence are on display.
