DUNTRUNE CASTLE

A Norman style, stone castle dating from the 12th century and a former Campbell stronghold. It is located on Loch Crinan looking out on the Sound of Jura.

Access

Directions: A83 to Lochgilphead, A816 to sign "Crinan Ferry" (approx. 5m.). After 3 miles T-junction.... Duntrune should then be visible on the North Shore of Loch Crinan.
