Directions: Off A595, North East of Broadgate. Open to the public all the time. Access via footpath, limited parking on road at bottom of Fell Road, disabled access possible by car but 4 wheel drive advisable.
The owner's binding undertakings
Reasonable steps will be taken in respect of the property edged in red for its maintenance and the preservation of its character and for securing reasonable access for the public. In pursuance of which a Management Plan will be drawn up by consultants appointed by the Countryside Agency (such plan to include measures for providing appropriate publicity of the public access arrangements) and the requirements and objectives contained in the said plan will be observed as they relate to and affect the property. Subject thereto the present level and means of access to the property will be maintained. An annual report will be provided giving details of the steps taken to observe the Undertaking. I.R. Capital Taxes will be notified immediately possession of the property is relinquished whether by sale gift or otherwise.
