The owner's binding undertakings

1 To take reasonable steps to maintain repair and preserve the property specified on the map and the chattels referred to in the description below having full regard to the historic and architectural interest, including where necessary a) eradicating any dry and wet rot and any major beetle infestation; b) repairing roofs and rainwater goods in permanent and suitable materials; c) repairing stonework (in appropriate matching stone) and brickwork, in so far as repairs are necessary to protect the fabric of the building; d) repairing and repainting or treating external woodwork; e) carrying out repairs necessary to maintain the historic interiors; f) abiding by the terms of the Heritage Landscape Management Plan for the Wassand Estate dated January 2001 in so far as it relates to the property. g) keeping the chattels at Wassand Hall. h) undertaking thinning and control of the flora…
