The owner's binding undertakings
1. Until the property is disposed of whether by sale or gift or otherwise, to take all reasonable steps for its maintenance repair and preservation, and for securing reasonable access to the public. 2. (a) As regards "Martholme" and "Martholme Gatehouse and Gateway" to take steps, having full regard to the architectural and historic interest of the property, where necessary, for a. the eradication of any wet and dry rot, and any major beetle infestation b. the repair of roofs and any rainwater goods in permanent and suitable materials c. the repair of stonework (in appropriate matching stone) and brickwork in so far as repairs are necessary to protect the fabric of the building d. the repair, so far as is necessary, of the historic interiors.
