The owner's binding undertakings

We undertake, with respect to the Collection, that during the lifetime of the owner or until the Collection or any part of it is earlier disposed of whether by sale or gift or otherwise: (a) to keep the Collection, as a Collection, permanently in the United Kingdom and not to remove it temporarily except for a purpose and a period approved by HM Revenue & Customs ("HMRC"); (b) to take reasonable steps for the preservation of the Collection and each of its constituents; (c) to take the following steps to secure reasonable access to the public: (i) The manuscript material referred to on Schedule I will be on loan to the Council and available to the public at the County Record Office, Huntingdon (The Record Office); (ii) The pictures, sculptures, books and memorabilia on Schedule II will be on loan to the Council for display at The Cromwell Museum, Huntingdon (The Museum); (iii) The p…
