Works of Art and Other Objects: The collection, built up over several hundred years, including some fine pieces of mainly English furniture and a range of family portraits and subject paintings. There are also portraits of the Drake family including Sir Francis Drake. The collection has works by Reynolds, Marcus Gheeraedts the Younger, Dominic Serres, Agasse and David Teniers, the Younger amongst others.

A selection of items from the collection can be seen by guided tour as part of the Heritage Open Days, because numbers for the tours are limited, entry is by pre-booked ticket only.
