The owner's binding undertakings
1. To undertake with respect to the Collections listed, until each of the Collections or any part of it is disposed of whether by sale or gift or otherwise: (a) To keep each of the Collections as a collection and to keep it permanently in the United Kingdom and not to remove it temporarily except for a purpose and a period approved by the HM Revenue & Customs ("HMRC"); (b) to take reasonable steps for its preservation; (c) to take the following steps to secure reasonable access to the public: (i) to allow the public to view each of the Collections without a prior appointment at Woburn Abbey, Leighton Buzzard, Bedfordshire on at least 28 days each year ("the access days") between 1st April and 30th September when Woburn Abbey is itself open to the public, including the Spring and Summer public holidays, not less than 10 days to fall on weekends or public holidays; With regards to the…
