The owner's binding undertakings
We undertake in accordance with Sections 30(1)(b) and 35A IHTA as regards each of the objects that, until the object is disposed of, whether by sale or gift or otherwise:- 1. It will be kept permanently in the United Kingdom and will not leave it temporarily except as approved by HMRC, such approval not to be unreasonably withheld, 2. Reasonable steps will be taken for its preservation, and 3. Each of the objects will be made available for loan to appropriate United Kingdom public collections for special exhibitions for such periods as are reasonable in all the circumstances ; and, IN ADDITION 5. The public shall be given reasonable access to each object while not on loan under clause 4 above, by it being on public display in Althorp on all days when Althorp is open to the public which shall be for at least 60 days per annum and/or by appointment.
