The owner's binding undertakings

1. We undertake with respect to the Collection that during the lifetime of the owner or until it is earlier disposed of whether by sale or gift or otherwise: (a) to keep the Collection, as a collection, permanently in the United Kingdom and not to remove it or any part of it temporarily except for a purpose and a period approved by HM Revenue & Customs Inheritance Tax (HMRC/IHT); (b) to take reasonable steps for the preservation of the Collection: (c) to take the following steps to secure reasonable access to the public: (i) the public will be able to view them, without prior appointment, as follows: (ii) the objects shall be on permanent loan to The Guards Museum, London (iii) if the loan arrangement is terminated by the Museum, we will agree with HMRC/IHT alternative arrangement for providing the public with access to the Collection.
