At WARTSKI, a collection of items by Faberge.

The collection includes animals and birds from the collection of Queen Alexandra and a range of cigarette cases amongst other items. It shows the influence on Faberge of Japan, the Russian tradition of metalworking and of 18th century Dresden.

Access

This collection will be displayed at Wartski, 14 Grafton Street, London during June, July and August, Monday-Friday between 10am and 4pm.

The owner's binding undertakings

1. I undertake with respect to the Faberg? Collection that during my lifetime or until it is earlier disposed of, whether by sale or gift or otherwise: (a) to keep the Faberg? Collection as a collection permanently in the United Kingdom and not to remove it temporarily except for a purpose and a period approved by HM Revenue & Customs (HMRC); (b) to take reasonable steps for the preservation of the Faberg? Collection and each of its constituents; (c) to take the following steps to secure reasonable access to the public: (i) the public will be able to view the part of the Faberg? Collection shown as Schedule F1, which will be on indefinite loan to the Victoria & Albert Museum (V&A), London, for display. At any time when the part of the Faberg?
