I undertake with respect to each of the Archives, that during my lifetime or until it is disposed of whether by sale or gift or otherwise: (a) to keep the Archive permanently in the United Kingdom and not to remove it temporarily except for a purpose and a period approved by HM Revenue & Customs (HMRC); (b) to take reasonable steps for its preservation; these steps will include securing, in the absence of prior agreement with HMRC to the contrary, that - (i) the Nottingham Archive will remain on loan to and in the care and possession of The Manuscripts and Special Collections Department of the University of Nottingham (ii) the Yorkshire Archive will remain on loan to and in the care and possession of the East Riding of Yorkshire Record Office (iii) the provisions of paragraph 3(c)(vii) below shall apply if and to the extent that The Manuscripts and Special Collections Department of …
