The owner's binding undertakings
We undertake with respect to the Portraits, that during our lifetime or until they are disposed of whether by sale or gift or otherwise: (a) to keep the Portraits, as a Collection, permanently in the United Kingdom and not to remove it temporarily except for a purpose and a period approved by HM Revenue & Customs (HMRC); (b) to take reasonable steps for their preservation; (c) to take the following steps to secure reasonable access to the public (i) The Portraits will be on display at Stratfield Saye House, Stratfield Saye, Hampshire, RG7 2BZ. (ii) If the arrangement at (i) above comes to an end, we shall agree with HMRC alternative arrangements for providing the public with access to the Portraits.
