The owner's binding undertakings
We undertake with respect to the Collection, that until it is disposed of whether by sale or gift or otherwise: (a) to keep the Collection, as a Collection, permanently in the United Kingdom and not to remove it temporarily except for a purpose and a period approved by HM Revenue & Customs (HMRC); (b) to take reasonable steps for its preservation; these steps include a contribution of up to ?5,000 towards the cost of the preservation and conservation works detailed in Appendix 1 (c) to take the following steps to secure reasonable access to the public (i) the items in Part 1 of the Schedule are on long term loan to Sandhurst Military Academy Library ("the loan arrangement") and access by arrangement will be available to the archive for research or study whether or not as part of an academic course, throughout the year during normal working weeks (ii) if the loan arrangement is termi…
