SHUCKBURGH ESTATE

consists of Grade II* listed mansion, Shuckburgh Hall, which dates back to the 15th Century. There have been many alterations to the property over the centuries up until the 19th Century. The Estate has been owned by the Shuckburgh family since the 12th Century. The remainder of the Estate consists of over 2,500 acres of beautiful Warwickshire countryside, Scheduled Monuments and The Church of St John in the Wilderness. The grounds are home to a wide variety of wildlife, a herd of Fallow Deer and there are mature gardens. The associated estate includes the village of Lower Shuckburgh.

The owner's binding undertakings

a) To take the following steps for maintenance repair and preservation: i To prepare a Heritage Management Plan ("HMP") and Condition Survey within 12 months of designation in consultation with and to the reasonable satisfaction of Natural England and Historic England ("the agencies") for the maintenance repair and preservation of the Property and outstanding land, having full regard to its historical interest and to preserve its character including contributing building monuments and woodlands. ii.
