The owner's binding undertakings
1. We undertake with respect to the Collection, that until it is disposed of whether by sale or gift or otherwise: (a) to keep the Collection, as a Collection, permanently in the United Kingdom and not to remove it temporarily except for a purpose and a period approved by HM Revenue & Customs (HMRC); (b) to take reasonable steps for its preservation; (c) to take the following steps to secure reasonable access to the public (i) the collection will be on long term loan for display at The Postal Museum, 15-20 Phoenix Place, London WC1X 0DA ("the loan arrangement"). (ii) if the loan arrangement is terminated, we shall agree with HMRC alternative arrangements for providing public access. We understand that, in such event, our failure to institute a suitable replacement arrangement within a reasonable period of time to secure public access without prior appointment will constitute non-obs…
