
CRAIGSTON CASTLE.
CRAIGSTON CASTLE: The Castle has a particularly fine carved balcony, unique in Scottish architecture. Built in 1607 by John Urquhart, Tutor of Cromarty, few changes have been made to the exterior in its 400 years.
Access
In 2018 the castle will be open to the public 5th-24th May, again 1-3rd June and then again 28th-29th September and throughout the year by appointment. Opening times are: 1pm-4pm with guided tours leaving on the hour every hour (last tour at 3pm).
