Directions: In Fyvie Castle, off the A947, 8 miles south-east of Turriff and 25 miles north of Aberdeen. Public Access details: On show when Fyvie Castle is open. A collection of seven family portraits historically associated with Fyvie Castle. Also paintings by Turner, Cox and Holland which are on display by rotation. The owner's binding undertakings

The owners have undertaken: 1. that all the designated chattels will be maintained in good repair, and each will be shown within Fyvie Castle in rooms to which the public have access. With respect to those pieces accordingly not normally displayed, these will be shown in rotation or by appointment in consultation with Historic Scotland. The public will have access to a list of all the historically associated designated chattels in accordance with paragraph 6d) below, 2. that details of any conservation/restoration which may be undertaken, and copies of any professional reports which may be commissioned will be forwarded to Historic Scotland, 3. that Historic Scotland will be consulted in advance of any designated items being loaned for exhibition purposes, 4. that public access will be available, between the months of May and September, for a minimum of 25 days, at least 10 of which …
