The owner's binding undertakings
1. With respect to each of the objects until death or until it is earlier disposed of whether by sale or gift or otherwise: (a) to take reasonable steps for its maintenance, repair and preservation and to keep it associated with Ferniehirst Castle (b) to maintain and update the inventory of historically associated objects on a regular basis in a sortable electronic format to show location of objects in relation to the visitor route. (c) within 12 months of signing of this undertaking to create a photographic record of the objects and maintain any movement of them. (d) to check and update the inventory to reflect any changes in location prior to any formal site inspection and submitting it to HMRC Heritage to enable their advisory agency inspectors to readily identify the conditionally exempt objects and report on their preservation. 2.
